1. Who We Are

praisr.me is a Discord bot and web dashboard service operated as a private project based in England, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

2. What Data We Collect

When you or your server uses praisr.me, we collect and store the following:

• Discord User ID — a unique numeric identifier provided by Discord
• Username & Avatar — fetched via Discord OAuth2 at login, used to display your profile in the dashboard
• Guild (Server) IDs & Names — to scope all data per server
• Point totals & history — the points assigned to users within a server, including the amount, reason, timestamp, and the ID of who gave them
• Server configuration — settings such as log channel ID, role thresholds, and premium status

We do not collect email addresses, payment card details, or any data beyond what is described above.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate the bot and dashboard (assigning points, displaying leaderboards, managing roles)
• To authenticate dashboard administrators via Discord OAuth2
• To maintain per-server configuration and point history
• To display your username and avatar in the dashboard UI

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

4. Legal Basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, the operation of the service you or your server administrator has chosen to use. Where you log in to the dashboard, processing is also necessary for performance of a contract (providing you access to the service).

5. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as the bot remains in your Discord server. If the bot is removed from a server, the associated data is soft-deleted and can be permanently purged on request. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting [email protected].

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only external service involved is Discord itself, whose own Privacy Policy governs the data they provide us via their API.

7. Security

All data is stored in a private MySQL database hosted on secured infrastructure. Dashboard access is protected by Discord OAuth2 and JWT authentication. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is completely infallible.

8. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification of inaccurate data
• Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restriction of processing
• Object to processing
• Data portability
